The tradition of giving flowers in our culture spans from weddings and ceremonies to convalescence and death. I too, received the congratulatory bouquets after concerts, shows and recitals. The arraignment would be placed in a vase with water, then slowly over time wither and die. Yet during these various stages of decay, each bloom has its own personality. Every blossom is a living, evolving organism just like humans. This series explores how I see flowers: every one of them different, fragile, easily broken but something to be cherished.
